“The body doesn't lie. It holds the memory of every experience we've had, and when we listen to it, we can heal.”— Peter Levine
Trauma isn't only what happened — it's what your body and nervous system are still carrying. We work at your pace, with safety first, and you never have to retell anything before you're ready.
At your pace. Always.
Your responses make sense
Being on edge, shutting down, avoiding reminders, struggling to trust calm when it comes — these are not flaws. They are your nervous system doing exactly what it learned to do to keep you safe.
A trauma-informed approach means I see your responses as messages to be listened to and honoured, not problems to be fixed.
Safety first, always
Healing from trauma begins with safety — in the relationship, in the room, in your own body. We build that foundation carefully before going anywhere near the hard material, and you set the pace at every step.
I draw on somatic (body-based) awareness, polyvagal-informed understanding of the nervous system, and parts work, woven gently around what you need. Nothing is ever forced.
You don't need a 'big enough' story
Many people wonder whether what they went through 'counts'. If it's still affecting you, it counts. That is the only test that matters here.
Where and how we'd work
Sessions are 50 minutes and cost £55, with concessions sometimes available. We can meet in person in a peaceful farm setting near Ash in East Kent (between Canterbury and Sandwich, easy to reach from Deal, Dover and Thanet), at Lighthouse43 in Folkestone, or online, wherever you are. It always starts with a free, no-pressure 20-minute call.
