Hi, I'm Anna
I work with people who give a great deal to others and have quietly run out of room for themselves.

My story
Some of the most formative chapters of my life were lived far from home. I spent 18 years in Asia — working, building community, and navigating life in bilingual, multicultural environments surrounded by people from all corners of the world. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for the complexity of human stories, the weight of transition, and the particular resilience it takes to care for others while quietly carrying your own.
Before training as a counsellor, I worked in education and alongside families who had faced significant trauma. I also spent years as a classical musician — an experience that shaped the way I think and listen. Music taught me to notice what's beneath the surface and to be fully present to what's being communicated — not just in words, but in tone, pace, and silence.
My journey into counselling was a personal one. I experienced first-hand how transformative the right support can be, and I trained because I wanted to offer others what had been offered to me.
What I bring to the counselling room
Warm, gentle and creative, I bring a calm but lively energy to the counselling room. I'm not afraid to think outside the box, and I believe there is space for lightness and even playfulness alongside the deeper work — sometimes that's where the real breakthroughs happen. I care deeply about the people I sit with, and I take genuine pleasure in walking alongside them through their stories.
Outside of the counselling room you'll find me singing, having an enthusiastic kitchen boogie while cooking, or getting lost in a good book in my hammock in the woods. I love trees, nature, music and — very importantly — chocolate. I also love live concerts, good food and time with the people I love. I think it matters that you know a little of who I am beyond the therapy room — because I bring all of that warmth and aliveness into my work too.

Behaviour is adaptive, not disordered
Your responses are messages to be listened to and honoured — not problems to be fixed.
You carry inner wisdom
Beneath the exhaustion there is an innate goodness in every person. My job is to help you find your way back to it.
Nature is healing
Counselling is a space to nurture and befriend your nervous system — sometimes outdoors, among trees.

For over 10 years I've been having counselling on and off, and it just never stuck or felt right. That changed when I met lovely Anna, who I've been working with for a while now. Her way of explaining things and helping me see things from a different angle has made a huge positive impact on my life. She is kind, insightful, creative in her approach, and creates such a safe space to open up without judgment. I always leave our sessions feeling understood and more positive. I genuinely can't recommend her enough.
